Elisabeth Herrmann velika je njemačka književna zvijezda u niši krimića, a ni kod nas joj, bogami, ne ide loše. Ovih dana objavljeni roman "Bezimena" već je četvrto njezino djelo koje se našlo u katalogu izdavačke kuće "Znanje". Očito se autorica lijepo "primila" na naše tlo, pa se suradnja nastavlja na obostrano zadovoljstvo.

Nakon dva romana čija je protagonistica bila našijenka Sanela Beara, te jedne knjige iz serijala o Judith Kepler, zaključeno je da nema smisla pokušavati hvatati korak s tako produktivnom autoricom i prevoditi njezina novija djela, pa se logika obrnula. Umjesto friških, sada su u fokusu rani radovi. Roman "Bezimena" (koji je preveo Igor Crnković) izvorno je objavljen 2005. godine.

Tom knjigom dotadašnja je televizijska novinarka iskoračila na književnu scenu, predstavila sebe kao autoricu koja obećava, ali i svoga junaka, odvjetnika Joachima Vernaua. Potonji se do danas pojavio u još pet naslova, od kojih su neki i ekranizirani. Elisabeth se, pak, pošteno naradila, u petnaest godina objavila je devetnaest romana za odrasle i djecu, ali je trud i naplatila visokim nakladama, prestižnim nagradama i brojim prijevodima.

DADILJE ROBINJE

Tko se imao prilike susresti s njezinim librima, zapamtio je da se radi o autorici koja spretno gradi zaplete, tečno pripovijeda, nudi dovoljno suspensa, ima osebujne i snažne ženske likove (čak i u pratećem ešalonu sporednih karaktera ili epizodistica) te se voli zabavljati predlošcima koji su čvrsto uzglobljeni u neke neprevladane povijesne kontroverze. Trauma podjele Njemačke na istočnu i zapadnu, ali i ujedinjenja koje nije uspjelo premostiti brojne i duboke razlike među ljudima formatiranima u drukčijim političkim i kulturnim porecima, trajna je preokupacija Herrmannove.

"Bezimena" je također knjiga čiji je zaplet domišljen na stvarnosnom predlošku iz prošlosti, samo što se autorica u svom književnom debiju odlučila za malo dublji silazak niz spiralu povijesti. O čemu se zapravo radi? Dobro je poznato da su nacisti stotine tisuća muškaraca iz okupiranih zemalja koristili kao ropsku radnu snagu u svojim tvornicama, no kudikamo se slabije zna da su se u istome položaju našle i žene, odnosno djevojčice, uglavnom iz Poljske i Ukrajine, koje su služile kao dadilje u njemačkim obiteljima.

Babinanje djece koja su počesto znala biti samo koju godinu mlađa od njih, vrlo je često išlo u paketu s nasiljem, psihičkim, fizičkim i seksualnim. Kao što su se velike njemačke korporacije s neslavnom nacističkom prošlošću trudile ignorirati zahtjeve preživjelih robova za makar simboličkom naknadom, tako su se i mnoge obitelji oglušile o molbe da priznaju kako su imale robinje u vlastitim kućanstvima. "Mnoge" je zapravo ljupka umanjenica, jer je Herrmannova iskopala podatak da je više od 160.000 njemačkih obitelji odbilo isplatiti odštetu svojim robinjama.

BIRAČI NE VOLE PLEMIĆE

Ta sramna povijesna epizoda oživljena je u "Bezimenoj", koja započinje kao roman iz svakodnevice njemačke visoke klase. Joachim Vernau stigao je iz društvenog partera, a svoj je streloviti uspon vertikalom moći započeo kad se zaljubio u ženu iz imućne plemićke obitelji, koja se odrekla prefiksa von da bi se umilila što većem broju birača. Da, dama je političarka, vrlo uspješna, i čini se da bi nakon izbora koji su takorekuć pred vratima mogla postati ministarkom. Joachimu je, pak, "zapisano" da postane njezinim mužem, ali i partnerom u odvjetničkoj tvrtki njezina oca. Ta sapunica iz svijeta bogatih, uspješnih i lijepih rasprsnut će se u trenutku kad se pred pragom obiteljskog carstva ukaže stara Ukrajinka s ćiriličnim dokumentom i zahtjevom da ga domaćin, ugledni jurist, potpiše.

Dobro, idila se možda neće raspršiti baš istoga časa, ali hoće vrlo brzo, čim se u jednome kanalu uskoro pronađe beživotno tijelo te starice. Nakon što se ulickana slika cijenjene obitelji dovede u pitanje, Joachim će morati izabrati što mu je važnije: održavanje privida o čestitosti tazbine ili istina. Već pogađate, on će izabrati ovo drugo, time prešaltati roman u veću brzinu, ali i potpuno zakomplicirati svoj život.

Ma koliko se bavila ozbiljnom i teškom temom, "Bezimena" je na korak ili najviše dva od humorističnog romana. Joachim je, naime, vrlo relaksirani pripovjedač nalik njemačkome pobratimu Brixyjeva Timothyja Thatcehra, koji često balansira na samom rubu komedije, nikada ne prelazeći tu zamišljenu granicu, ali razblažujući opori ukus što ga priča ostavlja. To, međutim, nimalo ne umanjuje kritičku notu kojom je obojen ovaj zanatski besprijekoran i društveno angažirani krimić.

Elisabeth Herrmann velika je njemačka književna zvijezda u niši krimića, a ni kod nas joj, bogami, ne ide loše. Ovih dana objavljeni roman "Bezimena" već je četvrto njezino djelo koje se našlo u katalogu izdavačke kuće "Znanje". Očito se autorica lijepo "primila" na naše tlo, pa se suradnja nastavlja na obostrano zadovoljstvo.

Nakon dva romana čija je protagonistica bila našijenka Sanela Beara, te jedne knjige iz serijala o Judith Kepler, zaključeno je da nema smisla pokušavati hvatati korak s tako produktivnom autoricom i prevoditi njezina novija djela, pa se logika obrnula. Umjesto friških, sada su u fokusu rani radovi. Roman "Bezimena" (koji je preveo Igor Crnković) izvorno je objavljen 2005. godine.

Tom knjigom dotadašnja je televizijska novinarka iskoračila na književnu scenu, predstavila sebe kao autoricu koja obećava, ali i svoga junaka, odvjetnika Joachima Vernaua. Potonji se do danas pojavio u još pet naslova, od kojih su neki i ekranizirani. Elisabeth se, pak, pošteno naradila, u petnaest godina objavila je devetnaest romana za odrasle i djecu, ali je trud i naplatila visokim nakladama, prestižnim nagradama i brojim prijevodima.

DADILJE ROBINJE

Tko se imao prilike susresti s njezinim librima, zapamtio je da se radi o autorici koja spretno gradi zaplete, tečno pripovijeda, nudi dovoljno suspensa, ima osebujne i snažne ženske likove (čak i u pratećem ešalonu sporednih karaktera ili epizodistica) te se voli zabavljati predlošcima koji su čvrsto uzglobljeni u neke neprevladane povijesne kontroverze. Trauma podjele Njemačke na istočnu i zapadnu, ali i ujedinjenja koje nije uspjelo premostiti brojne i duboke razlike među ljudima formatiranima u drukčijim političkim i kulturnim porecima, trajna je preokupacija Herrmannove.

"Bezimena" je također knjiga čiji je zaplet domišljen na stvarnosnom predlošku iz prošlosti, samo što se autorica u svom književnom debiju odlučila za malo dublji silazak niz spiralu povijesti. O čemu se zapravo radi? Dobro je poznato da su nacisti stotine tisuća muškaraca iz okupiranih zemalja koristili kao ropsku radnu snagu u svojim tvornicama, no kudikamo se slabije zna da su se u istome položaju našle i žene, odnosno djevojčice, uglavnom iz Poljske i Ukrajine, koje su služile kao dadilje u njemačkim obiteljima.

Babinanje djece koja su počesto znala biti samo koju godinu mlađa od njih, vrlo je često išlo u paketu s nasiljem, psihičkim, fizičkim i seksualnim. Kao što su se velike njemačke korporacije s neslavnom nacističkom prošlošću trudile ignorirati zahtjeve preživjelih robova za makar simboličkom naknadom, tako su se i mnoge obitelji oglušile o molbe da priznaju kako su imale robinje u vlastitim kućanstvima. "Mnoge" je zapravo ljupka umanjenica, jer je Herrmannova iskopala podatak da je više od 160.000 njemačkih obitelji odbilo isplatiti odštetu svojim robinjama.

BIRAČI NE VOLE PLEMIĆE

Ta sramna povijesna epizoda oživljena je u "Bezimenoj", koja započinje kao roman iz svakodnevice njemačke visoke klase. Joachim Vernau stigao je iz društvenog partera, a svoj je streloviti uspon vertikalom moći započeo kad se zaljubio u ženu iz imućne plemićke obitelji, koja se odrekla prefiksa von da bi se umilila što većem broju birača. Da, dama je političarka, vrlo uspješna, i čini se da bi nakon izbora koji su takorekuć pred vratima mogla postati ministarkom. Joachimu je, pak, "zapisano" da postane njezinim mužem, ali i partnerom u odvjetničkoj tvrtki njezina oca. Ta sapunica iz svijeta bogatih, uspješnih i lijepih rasprsnut će se u trenutku kad se pred pragom obiteljskog carstva ukaže stara Ukrajinka s ćiriličnim dokumentom i zahtjevom da ga domaćin, ugledni jurist, potpiše.

Dobro, idila se možda neće raspršiti baš istoga časa, ali hoće vrlo brzo, čim se u jednome kanalu uskoro pronađe beživotno tijelo te starice. Nakon što se ulickana slika cijenjene obitelji dovede u pitanje, Joachim će morati izabrati što mu je važnije: održavanje privida o čestitosti tazbine ili istina. Već pogađate, on će izabrati ovo drugo, time prešaltati roman u veću brzinu, ali i potpuno zakomplicirati svoj život.

Ma koliko se bavila ozbiljnom i teškom temom, "Bezimena" je na korak ili najviše dva od humorističnog romana. Joachim je, naime, vrlo relaksirani pripovjedač nalik njemačkome pobratimu Brixyjeva Timothyja Thatcehra, koji često balansira na samom rubu komedije, nikada ne prelazeći tu zamišljenu granicu, ali razblažujući opori ukus što ga priča ostavlja. To, međutim, nimalo ne umanjuje kritičku notu kojom je obojen ovaj zanatski besprijekoran i društveno angažirani krimić.

Elisabeth Herrmann velika je njemačka književna zvijezda u niši krimića, a ni kod nas joj, bogami, ne ide loše. Ovih dana objavljeni roman "Bezimena" već je četvrto njezino djelo koje se našlo u katalogu izdavačke kuće "Znanje". Očito se autorica lijepo "primila" na naše tlo, pa se suradnja nastavlja na obostrano zadovoljstvo.

Nakon dva romana čija je protagonistica bila našijenka Sanela Beara, te jedne knjige iz serijala o Judith Kepler, zaključeno je da nema smisla pokušavati hvatati korak s tako produktivnom autoricom i prevoditi njezina novija djela, pa se logika obrnula. Umjesto friških, sada su u fokusu rani radovi. Roman "Bezimena" (koji je preveo Igor Crnković) izvorno je objavljen 2005. godine.
