Najzabavnije serijsko iskustvo godine, ugodno iznenađenje i jedna od boljih serija 2021., sve je to "Resident Alien" ("Lokalni izvanzemaljac"). Kako zasad stoji, njegovo mjesto je rezervirano u godišnjem topu zajedno s naslovima kao što su "Losing Alice", "It's a Sin", "Ethos", "Mare iz Easttowna", "Welcome To Utmark", "Sabba Cash", "Stateless" ili "The Serpent".

Adaptacija istoimena stripa u izdanju Dark Horse Comicsa imala je premijeru krajem siječnja na SyFy kanalu i protegnula se s emitiranjem do konca ožujka u jednotjednom ritmu, a upravo je prikazuje Fox i još vam nije kasno da se prikačite, taman na pola sezone koja završava 11. lipnja.

Uradak kreatora Chrisa Sheridana cijepljen je pretencioznosti prestižnih "peak TV" serija i nudi ležernu i simpatičnu, a inteligentnu komediju karaktera i situacije pomiješanu sa znanstvenom fantastikom, dramedijom i misterijom.

"Resident Alien" često podsjeća na dobre SF komedije osamdesetih, što ne iznenađuje s obzirom da iza njega stoji Amblin Televison ("Amazing Stories"), televizijska podružnica hollywoodskog studija zaslužnog za "Gremline", "Povratak u budućnost", "Unutrašnji svemir", "Kratki spoj"...

Priča prati izvanzemaljca nakon što mu se svemirski brod sruši na Zemlju koju je planirao uništiti. Izvanzemaljac završava u planinskom gradu Patienceu u Coloradu.

Ondje preuzima identitet i tijelo liječnika Harryja Vanderspeiglea (Alan Tudyk) kako bi se uklopio među ljude dok traži dio tereta, tj. uređaja koji je izgubio u padu broda kako bi kompletirao misiju, a mora ga pronaći "prije nego se snijeg otopi, jer netko drugi hoće".

"Nitko normalan ne bi ovdje živio osim ako ne skriva nešto", govori izvanzemaljac. On krije svoj identitet, a uči se ljudskom govoru i ponašanju gledanjem Jerryja Orbacha u seriji "Law & Order" i promatranjem ljudi oko sebe.

To su više ili manje živopisni žitelji Patiencea, među kojima njegovu pravu aliensku fizionomiju uspijeva vidjeti jedan klinac (Judah Prehn), sin gradonačelnika (Levi Fiehler).

Dakako, njegov izgovor i ukočeni govor tijela odaju čudnovatost s kojom Tudyk odlično predočava kako bi se neki "tuđin" (s)našao u tuđem, ljudskom tijelu, hrvajući se i s novostečenim emocijama tijekom interakcija sa stanovnicima Patiencea.

Zbog toga će pomisliti kako "možda postoji nešto iskupljujuće u ljudima, nakon svega", pa makar bi, "da svemir ima ljestvicu inteligencije, bili ispod guštera".

Serija potencira "riba izvan vode" koncept: osim što je izvanzemaljac koji se mora asimilirati među ljude, glavni lik preuzima i ulogu lokalnog liječnika kad pravi doktor bude ubijen, iako o tome nema pojma i Google mu je najbolji prijatelj kad npr. treba glumiti ginekologa, na osupnuće pacijentice i medicinske sestre Aste (Sara Tomko).

Nađe se i u "Lokalnom izvanzemaljcu" poneki humoristični ili sapuničasti podzaplet viška, a nisu ni svi likovi zaokruženi i ponekad je komedija "sitcomovski" bazična (pojava bivše žene dr. Vanderspeiglea; Elvy Yost), ali serija najvećim dijelom vrlo dobro funkcionira i šarmira.

Dapače, u najboljim trenucima uspijeva uhvatiti "malomišćanski" šarm "Života na sjeveru" na SF-ovski komičan način i biti "nešto više". Od duhovite serije o ljudskim manama i vrlinama, "Resident Alien" postaje serija o ljudima i životu samom.

Najzabavnije serijsko iskustvo godine, ugodno iznenađenje i jedna od boljih serija 2021., sve je to "Resident Alien" ("Lokalni izvanzemaljac"). Kako zasad stoji, njegovo mjesto je rezervirano u godišnjem topu zajedno s naslovima kao što su "Losing Alice", "It's a Sin", "Ethos", "Mare iz Easttowna", "Welcome To Utmark", "Sabba Cash", "Stateless" ili "The Serpent".

Adaptacija istoimena stripa u izdanju Dark Horse Comicsa imala je premijeru krajem siječnja na SyFy kanalu i protegnula se s emitiranjem do konca ožujka u jednotjednom ritmu, a upravo je prikazuje Fox i još vam nije kasno da se prikačite, taman na pola sezone koja završava 11. lipnja.

Uradak kreatora Chrisa Sheridana cijepljen je pretencioznosti prestižnih "peak TV" serija i nudi ležernu i simpatičnu, a inteligentnu komediju karaktera i situacije pomiješanu sa znanstvenom fantastikom, dramedijom i misterijom.

"Resident Alien" često podsjeća na dobre SF komedije osamdesetih, što ne iznenađuje s obzirom da iza njega stoji Amblin Televison ("Amazing Stories"), televizijska podružnica hollywoodskog studija zaslužnog za "Gremline", "Povratak u budućnost", "Unutrašnji svemir", "Kratki spoj"...

Priča prati izvanzemaljca nakon što mu se svemirski brod sruši na Zemlju koju je planirao uništiti. Izvanzemaljac završava u planinskom gradu Patienceu u Coloradu.

Ondje preuzima identitet i tijelo liječnika Harryja Vanderspeiglea (Alan Tudyk) kako bi se uklopio među ljude dok traži dio tereta, tj. uređaja koji je izgubio u padu broda kako bi kompletirao misiju, a mora ga pronaći "prije nego se snijeg otopi, jer netko drugi hoće".

"Nitko normalan ne bi ovdje živio osim ako ne skriva nešto", govori izvanzemaljac. On krije svoj identitet, a uči se ljudskom govoru i ponašanju gledanjem Jerryja Orbacha u seriji "Law & Order" i promatranjem ljudi oko sebe.

To su više ili manje živopisni žitelji Patiencea, među kojima njegovu pravu aliensku fizionomiju uspijeva vidjeti jedan klinac (Judah Prehn), sin gradonačelnika (Levi Fiehler).

Dakako, njegov izgovor i ukočeni govor tijela odaju čudnovatost s kojom Tudyk odlično predočava kako bi se neki "tuđin" (s)našao u tuđem, ljudskom tijelu, hrvajući se i s novostečenim emocijama tijekom interakcija sa stanovnicima Patiencea.

Zbog toga će pomisliti kako "možda postoji nešto iskupljujuće u ljudima, nakon svega", pa makar bi, "da svemir ima ljestvicu inteligencije, bili ispod guštera".

Serija potencira "riba izvan vode" koncept: osim što je izvanzemaljac koji se mora asimilirati među ljude, glavni lik preuzima i ulogu lokalnog liječnika kad pravi doktor bude ubijen, iako o tome nema pojma i Google mu je najbolji prijatelj kad npr. treba glumiti ginekologa, na osupnuće pacijentice i medicinske sestre Aste (Sara Tomko).

Nađe se i u "Lokalnom izvanzemaljcu" poneki humoristični ili sapuničasti podzaplet viška, a nisu ni svi likovi zaokruženi i ponekad je komedija "sitcomovski" bazična (pojava bivše žene dr. Vanderspeiglea; Elvy Yost), ali serija najvećim dijelom vrlo dobro funkcionira i šarmira.

Dapače, u najboljim trenucima uspijeva uhvatiti "malomišćanski" šarm "Života na sjeveru" na SF-ovski komičan način i biti "nešto više". Od duhovite serije o ljudskim manama i vrlinama, "Resident Alien" postaje serija o ljudima i životu samom.

Alien iz susjedstva: ‘tuđin‘ preuzima tijelo liječnika iz američkog gradića u ugodnom iznenađenju od serije koja podsjeća na dobre SF komedije 80-ih

Najzabavnije serijsko iskustvo godine, ugodno iznenađenje i jedna od boljih serija 2021., sve je to "Resident Alien" ("Lokalni izvanzemaljac"). Kako zasad stoji, njegovo mjesto je rezervirano u godišnjem topu zajedno s naslovima kao što su "Losing Alice", "It's a Sin", "Ethos", "Mare iz Easttowna", "Welcome To Utmark", "Sabba Cash", "Stateless" ili "The Serpent".

Adaptacija istoimena stripa u izdanju Dark Horse Comicsa imala je premijeru krajem siječnja na SyFy kanalu i protegnula se s emitiranjem do konca ožujka u jednotjednom ritmu, a upravo je prikazuje Fox i još vam nije kasno da se prikačite, taman na pola sezone koja završava 11. lipnja.
