Kad bi netko križao sir Davida Attenborougha, Borata i Barbie, sasvim je moguće da bi dobio Philomenu Cunk, nevjerojatno neuku i emotivno-intelihentno zakinutu novinarku koja u petodijelnoj BBC-jevoj seriji istražuje najbitnije točke u povijesti čovječanstva. Cunk, koju glumi Diane Morgan, prema scenariju koji je kreirala u suradnji s tvorcem Black Mirrora Charliejem Brookerom posjećuje znamenitosti poput egipatskih piramida i razgovara s eminentnim stručnjacima poput antropologa, lingvista i povjesničara, bombardirajući ih pri tom pitanjima poput "Ima li Kina krov?" i "Jeste li sigurni da se kaže Biblija, a ne Blibija?".

Da lik Philomene Cunk već nije (barem u Velikoj Britaniji gdje je već prikazan sličan serijal, Cunk on Britain) poznat, moguće da bi nekog od vremešnih stručnjaka kolpalo pred kamerama, ali svi su ipak bar donekle slutili što im se sprema. Za ilustraciju, Philomena stručnjaku za povijesnu lingvistiku dr. Irvingu Finkelu, dok zajedno promatraju kamenu ploču s jednim od najranijih povijesnih zapisa, upućuje pitanje: "Da je netko ovo glasno viknuo, bi li to bila prva audio knjiga?".

Brooker je priznao da producenti traže od svakog sugovornika da bude što iskreniji i da Cunkovu tretiraju kao naivno dijete. Malo tko je usprkos tome uspio ostati baš potpuno mrtav-hladan na njene ispade (zapravo, nitko nije uspio) i pored Morganičinih nevjerojatno nepristojnih i blesavih, no često zapravo tako neodoljivo duhovitih i ciničnih replika reakcije uvaženih stručnjaka na obilnu dozu Cunkove su najbolji dio showa.

Ono što čudi je zašto ova serija nije stekla veću popularnost na Netflixu. Sudeći po ocjeni od čistih 100 posto s Rotten Tomatoesa, tko ju je pogledao, nije se razočarao. Da budem iskrena, ja sam je krenula gledati zato što sam prepoznala Morganovu Gemmu Nerrick, "najprosječniju osobu u Britaniji" iz meni izvrsnog mokumentarca "Smrt 2020.", zapravo prema najavi za Cunk on Earth mislila sam da je riječ o istom liku u novom uratku, a jednom kad sam počela gledati s radošću sam zaključila da sam nakon dugo vremena uspjela pronaći streaming materijal zbog kojeg "varim" od smijeha.

Kad bi netko križao sir Davida Attenborougha, Borata i Barbie, sasvim je moguće da bi dobio Philomenu Cunk, nevjerojatno neuku i emotivno-intelihentno zakinutu novinarku koja u petodijelnoj BBC-jevoj seriji istražuje najbitnije točke u povijesti čovječanstva. Cunk, koju glumi Diane Morgan, prema scenariju koji je kreirala u suradnji s tvorcem Black Mirrora Charliejem Brookerom posjećuje znamenitosti poput egipatskih piramida i razgovara s eminentnim stručnjacima poput antropologa, lingvista i povjesničara, bombardirajući ih pri tom pitanjima poput "Ima li Kina krov?" i "Jeste li sigurni da se kaže Biblija, a ne Blibija?".

Da lik Philomene Cunk već nije (barem u Velikoj Britaniji gdje je već prikazan sličan serijal, Cunk on Britain) poznat, moguće da bi nekog od vremešnih stručnjaka kolpalo pred kamerama, ali svi su ipak bar donekle slutili što im se sprema. Za ilustraciju, Philomena stručnjaku za povijesnu lingvistiku dr. Irvingu Finkelu, dok zajedno promatraju kamenu ploču s jednim od najranijih povijesnih zapisa, upućuje pitanje: "Da je netko ovo glasno viknuo, bi li to bila prva audio knjiga?".

Brooker je priznao da producenti traže od svakog sugovornika da bude što iskreniji i da Cunkovu tretiraju kao naivno dijete. Malo tko je usprkos tome uspio ostati baš potpuno mrtav-hladan na njene ispade (zapravo, nitko nije uspio) i pored Morganičinih nevjerojatno nepristojnih i blesavih, no često zapravo tako neodoljivo duhovitih i ciničnih replika reakcije uvaženih stručnjaka na obilnu dozu Cunkove su najbolji dio showa.

Ono što čudi je zašto ova serija nije stekla veću popularnost na Netflixu. Sudeći po ocjeni od čistih 100 posto s Rotten Tomatoesa, tko ju je pogledao, nije se razočarao. Da budem iskrena, ja sam je krenula gledati zato što sam prepoznala Morganovu Gemmu Nerrick, "najprosječniju osobu u Britaniji" iz meni izvrsnog mokumentarca "Smrt 2020.", zapravo prema najavi za Cunk on Earth mislila sam da je riječ o istom liku u novom uratku, a jednom kad sam počela gledati s radošću sam zaključila da sam nakon dugo vremena uspjela pronaći streaming materijal zbog kojeg "varim" od smijeha.

Kad je Attenborough sreo Borata i Barbie: pogledali smo seriju zbog koje se ‘vari‘ od smijeha, BBC-jev mokumentarac je hit

Kad bi netko križao sir Davida Attenborougha, Borata i Barbie, sasvim je moguće da bi dobio Philomenu Cunk, nevjerojatno neuku i emotivno-intelihentno zakinutu novinarku koja u petodijelnoj BBC-jevoj seriji istražuje najbitnije točke u povijesti čovječanstva. Cunk, koju glumi Diane Morgan, prema scenariju koji je kreirala u suradnji s tvorcem Black Mirrora Charliejem Brookerom posjećuje znamenitosti poput egipatskih piramida i razgovara s eminentnim stručnjacima poput antropologa, lingvista i povjesničara, bombardirajući ih pri tom pitanjima poput "Ima li Kina krov?" i "Jeste li sigurni da se kaže Biblija, a ne Blibija?".


Da lik Philomene Cunk već nije (barem u Velikoj Britaniji gdje je već prikazan sličan serijal, Cunk on Britain) poznat, moguće da bi nekog od vremešnih stručnjaka kolpalo pred kamerama, ali svi su ipak bar donekle slutili što im se sprema. Za ilustraciju, Philomena stručnjaku za povijesnu lingvistiku dr. Irvingu Finkelu, dok zajedno promatraju kamenu ploču s jednim od najranijih povijesnih zapisa, upućuje pitanje: "Da je netko ovo glasno viknuo, bi li to bila prva audio knjiga?".

Brooker je priznao da producenti traže od svakog sugovornika da bude što iskreniji i da Cunkovu tretiraju kao naivno dijete. Malo tko je usprkos tome uspio ostati baš potpuno mrtav-hladan na njene ispade (zapravo, nitko nije uspio) i pored Morganičinih nevjerojatno nepristojnih i blesavih, no često zapravo tako neodoljivo duhovitih i ciničnih replika reakcije uvaženih stručnjaka na obilnu dozu Cunkove su najbolji dio showa.

Ono što čudi je zašto ova serija nije stekla veću popularnost na Netflixu. Sudeći po ocjeni od čistih 100 posto s Rotten Tomatoesa, tko ju je pogledao, nije se razočarao. Da budem iskrena, ja sam je krenula gledati zato što sam prepoznala Morganovu Gemmu Nerrick, "najprosječniju osobu u Britaniji" iz meni izvrsnog mokumentarca "Smrt 2020.", zapravo prema najavi za Cunk on Earth mislila sam da je riječ o istom liku u novom uratku, a jednom kad sam počela gledati s radošću sam zaključila da sam nakon dugo vremena uspjela pronaći streaming materijal zbog kojeg "varim" od smijeha.
